SCHOOL HISTORY
Divine vision school was established   on 23rd June 2006   with two pupils   by the community and the proprietor   being Mr.FredrickOnyango and head teacher Joshua onchomba. .The only teachers   of that time   were Mr   Joshua   Onchomba , and  Mrs Margret Juma   and Mr Fredrick  Onyango.

The  two pupils  were in baby class  and nursery  respectively  ,in the  year  2007  we introduced  pre-unit ,class 1,2,3,4,5 and the population rose  to 53 pupils  .

In the year 2008 we introduced   classes 6   and due to the   high demand to introduce other classes   from the community we introduced Std 7 and 8 in the year 2009
In the year 2009 we did our first KCPE exam with 12 pupils 

The school academic standards has improved tremendously.


BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Divine visions junior school was established on 23rd June 2006 by the community with two pupils under the leadership of Fredrick Onyango as the director and Joshua Onchomba as the head teacher. The school is located at Sabasaba, Kayole location Embakasi Sub County, Nairobi County. 


The school has all the classes as from baby class to class eight. The school has an enrolment of 390 pupils. It has 202 girls and 188 boys. It has a staff of 15 teachers and 2 subordinate staff. . Due to the support from the community,the school has reduced absenteeism and academic performance has improved. The school population is growing tremendously.



As the school is growing, it has experienced existing gaps which hinder academic performance in the school. The school has its prioritized needs which it has set aside to be completed in the 2015-2018 academic years.
